Linux Application Operation Administrator Information about the position Place of work Slovak Republic, Košice region, Košice Job description, information about the position The task field includes the supply of basic services in the environment of technical databases and operation of applications: * ensure operation of basic software applications and hardware components * second Level Support Main Tasks: * installation of DB software * setup and monitoring of database instances under the provisions of AG (parameterization, setting up tablespaces, data files, redo logs, ...) * connection and operation of the DB-service to the network (for example, DB2 Connect, or SQLNet ODBC) * installing of hotfixes and patches to stabilize daily operation * setup, modify and delete links between source and target system * set up, modify and delete database replication (currently Shareplex)) For data movements from a database and for job management the following serviceshave to be provided: * adaptation of scripts according to the customer * adjustments of Jobs * monitoring of running of the scripts / jobs * tuning / Optimizing Job/Net * fault analysis and repair, if the cause is the responsibility of IT operations * involvement in customer projects. * implementation of Changes to systems in according to ITIL Change Process Salary offered (gross) by agreement Start date asap Other benefits * variety of individually tailored educational programs * possibility to gain international certificate * learning and using the latest technology * working in a stable international company * other social benefits Contract type full-time employment Wymagania Requirements for the employee Required education Education: University education (Bachelor's degree) University education (Master's degree) Skills Language skills: English - advanced Additional requirements for the applicant Technical skills: Knowledge of following technologies is a big advantage: Operating systems: * Linux * HPUX * AIX Applications: * Oracle 8.x , 9.x und 10.x * MY SQL 4.x, * DB2 Enterprise 9 * UDB 8.x * Apache 1.x * Apache Tomcat 4.x+5.x Script languages: * Perl or Shell programming Language skills: * good knowledge of English * fluent in spoken and written German is a must Personal skills: * ability to work under pressure * good teamplayer Mile widziane Informacja dotyczy oferty pracy tymczasowej za granicą.
